Job Description: Participate in legal and compliance reviews, implement project-related legal management, and provide professional legal support for the project base in Morocco. Participate in the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of major project risks, and provide legal compliance advice and draft project agreements. Responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation of project-related legal, compliance, and risk control management requirements.
- Provide legal compliance advice and draft project engineering, procurement, and commercial agreements.
- Formulate legal risk prevention measures and issue legal opinions.
- Resolve legal disputes in the project base.
- Draft, revise, and guide standard contract texts for the project base.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Law.
- Solid theoretical and practical experience in the legal profession.
- At least 2-5 years of working experience in corporate law or risk control, or 5 years of experience in a law firm.
- Familiarity with Morocco's legal risk management and experience in providing legal services in chemical, smelting, and international production capacity cooperation projects.
About COBCO:
COBCO is a joint venture between CNGR and AL MADA, established in 2023. It develops an industrial park at Jorf Lasfar dedicated to manufacturing battery components for electric vehicles. The park spans over 200 hectares and represents an investment of 20 billion dirhams, aiming to produce 120,000 tonnes of NMC precursors, 60,000 tonnes of LFP components, and 30,000 tonnes of cathode material annually. COBCO's production will support the fabrication of materials for over 1 million electric vehicles each year.
