Internal Auditor

Execute and lead internal audits across various business functions, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic areas. Conduct thorough testing of controls, identify control weaknesses, and assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Recommend improvements to strengthen internal control frameworks and mitigate identified risks. Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management's review. Communicate audit results and insights to senior management, the Audit Committee, and other relevant stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to business units in implementing audit recommendations and addressing control deficiencies. Provide constructive feedback and ensure quality and accuracy of audit documentation. In-depth knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact effectively with stakeholders at middle management. Integrity, objectivity, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards are essential.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Professional certification (CIA) is welcomed. 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields, with a focus on leading and executing complex audits is required. COBCO is a joint-venture between the Chinese group CNGR and the private investment fund AL MADA. The company is developing a 200-hectare industrial park in Jorf Lasfar dedicated to the production of battery components for electric vehicles. The investment represents 20 billion dirhams and aims to produce 120 000 tonnes of NMC precursors, 60 000 tonnes of LFP components, and 30 000 tonnes of black mass per year. COBCO's production will support the fabrication of materials for over 1 million electric vehicles annually.
