**Job Summary:** Manage Company financial resources, lead the Accounting team, and ensure financial accounts compliance with Moroccan accounting standards.

**Job Description:**

The role of the Accounting Manager is to oversee the control and use of Company financial resources, ensuring the performance of the Accounts team and the preparation of financial reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Accounting team, ensuring the completion of financial accounts in accordance with Moroccan accounting standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage the Accounting team and ensure the completion of financial accounts in accordance with Moroccan accounting standards
* Generate monthly financial reporting files after necessary accruals and analysis of major gaps
* Prepare quarterly financial statements in MGAAP and IFRS
* Prepare annual financial reports (in MGAAP and IFRS)
* Prepare financial information (ETIC), annual tax applications, and payment
* Maintain relationships with auditors to ensure the completion of their mission without reserves
* Validate and process monthly tax applications (VAT, Withholding tax)
* Coordinate and finalize VAT claim folders
* Supervise and control the daily bank and cash situation
* Ensure payments on time for all suppliers
* Supervise and control bank accounting and bank reconciliations for all banks
* Prepare annual tax applications (advance tax, professional tax)
* Supervise airport tax applications, payment, and updates
* Coordinate with ODC for approvals
* Develop and maintain relationships with banking
* Update charts of accounts and finance procedures
* Provide guidance and support to others in the Finance Department on cost and revenue issues, in accordance with Air Arabia policies
* Contribute to the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from a recognized university
* CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificates are preferable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint skills, Internet, and Web Search
* Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting, and Auditing certificates and trainings are an added value
* Good communication skills
* Moroccan Nationality is a must

**Work Experience:**

* 7+ years of similar experience in corporate finance/accounting in Airlines Industry for a company operating on regional or multinational level
* A minimum of 3 years of experience handling cost areas related to Engineering and Maintenance sections
* Experience with low-cost airlines is an advantage
* Sound knowledge in financial control and accounting fundamentals
* Strong math and numerical reasoning ability and high accuracy are mandatory for this role
* Familiar with formalities and pre-requisites associated with internal and external audits
* Experienced in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure in line with agreed targets
* Cost-oriented, possesses effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Experienced in a computerized accounting environment with exposure on financial models and new technologies
* Ability to produce, interpret, assimilate data, and express ideas and concepts clearly
* Experienced in leading/developing a team of professionals with heavy workloads and ad-hoc scenarios
* Capable of meeting deadlines without compromising quality of outcome
* Capable of identifying irregularities, high attention to details, and ability in adhering to procedures
* Employs technical expertise and interpersonal relations to interact with senior-level stakeholders, external providers, and external auditors to support company objectives
* Experienced in measuring team's performance against policies, procedures, business needs, and in line with adopted regulations and approved standards
* Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs
