A leading management consulting firm seeks an experienced IT Consultant to drive digital transformation for clients. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise to develop and implement innovative IT strategies, deploying cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization to unlock client potential. The role involves working closely with client leadership teams, defining IT strategies, and collaborating with BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical and conceptual skillset, experience in legacy environments and modern approaches to technology, and a proven track record in Agile consulting and advisory. They will also possess strong business acumen, the ability to frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts, and fluency in English and French. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, with a comprehensive training curriculum and technology-specific training and mentoring.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative IT strategies
- Deploy cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization
- Collaborate with client leadership teams and BCG case team members
- Evaluate and coach client technology teams
- Manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations
- Develop ground-breaking projects using agile methods and modern approaches
- Contribute to Practice Area development and build the BCG brand
- Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in IT Strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management
- Prior IT consulting experience preferable
- Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus, and mental agility
- Experience in legacy environments and modern approaches to technology
- Track record of Agile consulting and advisory with experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale
- Experience in IT organization and process development
- Experience in organizing workshops and facilitating in client meetings
- Strong business acumen, able to frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts
- University degree in a STEM related field or business management
- Fluent in English and French
