Job Opportunity:
">We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a correctional facility in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general family medicine, with a focus on addiction medicine and some familiarity with prenatal care.
">This is a great opportunity for a physician looking to gain experience in a correctional setting, where they can make a real difference in the lives of patients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with rounds starting at 7:30 AM.
">Job Responsibilities:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily rounds of 20-30 patients, managing detox cases, collaborating with dental teams, and handling administrative tasks. They will also be expected to maintain accurate and detailed patient records and adhere to all safety and security protocols specific to the correctional setting.
">Requirements:
">To be considered for this role, you must be licensed to practice in Massachusetts, have experience with ERMA (Electronic Records Management Application), and be comfortable working in a correctional environment. You should also have strong communication and time management skills and be able to adapt to unique healthcare challenges in a secure facility.
