The job of a Radiology Technologist is to work with medical imaging equipment to create high-quality images of the body for diagnosis and treatment purposes. This position requires a strong understanding of radiography principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This 13-week assignment will have you working in an exciting and dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, preparing patients, and operating various types of imaging equipment. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic procedures using various types of imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and any necessary steps
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
You will be responsible for ensuring that all patient interactions are respectful, professional, and compassionate. You'll need to maintain accurate records, follow established protocols, and adhere to industry standards for quality and safety.
