Visual Aid Professional Job Description

This role requires a professional who can provide exceptional service to customers by assisting them with various types of lenses and spectacle frames. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optical products and business practices, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Main Tasks:
  • Assist patients with prescription eyewear, including verifying order data entry and comparing Rx to original Rx provided from the doctor
  • Provide excellent Member service in person and over the phone to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales
  • Operate equipment such as lensometers to read prescriptions and prepare orders for processing


Working Conditions:
This role is located in a comfortable indoor area with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. The ideal candidate will be able to lift objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally position themselves to examine or scan merchandise.
