Skillful Travel PT Assistant Wanted
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our travel team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who wants to work in a dynamic environment, making a positive impact on patients' lives.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing patient care and support under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet patients' unique needs
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to collaborative goal-setting and problem-solving
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where the assignment is located
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
