About the Role:
As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless and personalized guest experiences.
We are seeking a skilled Reservations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable moments for our guests.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the reservations team, managing reservation systems, monitoring daily reservations, and collaborating with revenue management and sales teams to align booking goals with overall hotel strategy.
You will also be tasked with providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations for reservation agents to maintain high service standards.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the reservations team to ensure efficient and accurate handling of room bookings.
- Manage reservation systems to maintain accurate availability and rates.
- Monitor daily reservations, cancellations, and no-shows; proactively adjust strategies to optimize occupancy.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for reservation agents to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate closely with revenue management, sales, and front office teams to align booking goals with overall hotel strategy.
- Generate and analyze reservation reports to identify trends and opportunities for improving booking performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel reservations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems (Opera).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
