Director of Dining Operations

The Director of Dining Operations oversees culinary services calendar, manages departmental staffing and labor costs, and recruits and evaluates all culinary services staff. This role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with seniors. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality standards, meeting with dining staff bi-monthly, and reporting minutes and action items to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the operations in food and beverage services
  • Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the Executive Director concerning the operations of the food service departments
  • Supports the community and regional cluster sales efforts with marketing events, programs, etc.


Requirements:
  • Passion for working with seniors
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of food preparation procedures and related Health Department regulations
