Our team seeks a skilled Pulmonary Nurse Specialist to provide expert care in the pediatric Pulmonary Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering family-centered care.
About the RoleThis position involves providing high-quality nursing care, including education, coordination, triage, medication administration, and assisting physicians in the outpatient setting. The specialist will also assist with ambulatory procedures and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care through thorough assessments, effective interventions, and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide educational resources and support to patients and families, promoting empowerment and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of pulmonary care standards
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- A BSN degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 1-2 years of RN experience, preferably in pediatric and pulmonary care
- A valid MA RN license
Please note that during public health emergencies, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
