Post Anesthetic Care Nurse

The position involves working in a Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) environment, where the primary responsibility is to provide direct patient care to individuals who have undergone anesthesia. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate attitude towards patients. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, as well as a current RN license. In addition, experience in PACU or similar environments is highly valued.

This assignment offers a unique opportunity for nurses to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced setting while enjoying a competitive compensation package. The contract pays $3,515 per week, with a stipend of $1,055. Housing options are available, including stipends and per diem assistance. The assignment starts on ASAP and lasts for 13 weeks, with 12-hour shifts worked four days a week. To be eligible for this position, candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility. Those interested in this opportunity should possess two years of nursing experience, BLS certification, and relevant state and national certifications.
