Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Wanted

A Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide locum tenens coverage at a facility in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and be able to work independently in an outpatient setting.
The role involves seeing approximately 10 patients per session, with two sessions per day. Providers working 8 clinical sessions weekly can have one day for administrative duties. The patient population is adults 18 and older, with 80% on MassHealth Medicaid preference given to candidates already enrolled.
Board certification and active DEA and MCSR licenses are required. The EMR used is ECW, and providers will have support from dedicated MAs, RNs, and other physicians on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to adult patients
- Conduct thorough health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Active DEA and MCSR licenses
- Board certification in Family Medicine or related field
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
