The role of a Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills. As a PT, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will have opportunities to participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued rehabilitation. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required, along with a current MA Physical Therapist PT license and BLS/CPR Certification.
