About the Role:
This position involves working in a PCU setting, caring for patients with various conditions such as arrhythmia management, cardiac Drip Management, chest tube care, and post-cardiac intervention. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in patient assessment, medication management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements:
- RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
