Physical Therapy Assistant
About the Role:
As a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on individuals' lives while working collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient mobility and function Monitor progress, report changes to supervising physical therapists, and maintain accurate documentation Educate patients and their families on safe exercise techniques and measures Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited PTA program National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) certification MA PTA licensure First Aid Certifications (BLS) are strongly recommended
Work Details:
Pay: $1191.88 / week Location: Plymouth, MA Assignment Length: 13 Shifts: Day Setting Skilled Nursing Facility - SNF Workplace: On-site
