This 12-week travel oncology nurse assignment presents a unique opportunity to work in Boston, Massachusetts, and gain valuable experience in oncology nursing. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Salary: Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Job Description:
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs for oncology patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest oncology research and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- RN licensure and current certifications in oncology nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
