TotalMed Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN to provide post anesthesia care for patients in Boston, Massachusetts. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Overview:

As a travel nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your expertise and knowledge will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive the best possible care during their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • RN license and current registration
  • Experience in post anesthesia care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
