Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Northampton, MA. Job Function: Night Shift. 3x12. Manage care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout the emergency room experience. Maintain close communication with all healthcare team members and independently recognize the need for early intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. Perform IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, blood draws, and other medical procedures. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required. CPI or MOAB certification required.
