Job Function: Day Shift. 3x12. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Perform and document sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to policy. Prepare patients for surgery as directed. Provide technical assistance to surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during procedures. Clean and sterilize surgical instruments using approved techniques. Job Requirements: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). 1 year of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting. BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association).
