Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Concord, MA. Job Function: Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. Prepares and administers prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV) and accurately documents all administrations. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with nursing policies and procedures. Educates patients on surgical procedures and records their medical information and vital signs. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic displays. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of New York. Two years of Emergency Room RN experience is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required. CPEP experience is required. 2 years of behavioral health experience is required.
