Your Role as a Supply Chain Scheduler
- Inventory Management:
Responsible for setting and maintaining raw material and component inventory levels, driving reduction actions, and reporting daily levels. - Requirements Planning:
Plans material needs based on S&OP and MPS to ensure availability for customer demand. - Supplier Monitoring:
Validates and sends weekly forecasts, tracks daily arrivals, and measures/improves the Supplier Service Rate (SSR). - Communication:
Maintains reliable contact with suppliers, adapting communication style and frequency to prevent or resolve crises. - Operational Support:
Implements supply chain tools (Kanban, EDI, Pull flow) and defines inbound transportation plans with the External Flow Analyst. - Inventory Accuracy:
Supports physical inventory counting and collaborates with ERP analysts to maintain data accuracy. - Crisis Management:
Identifies blocking points, alerts relevant departments during shortages, and defines priorities to mitigate impacts. - Continuous Improvement:
Participates in Logistics/Purchasing meetings and helps establish logistics protocols with suppliers. - Business Continuity:
Ensures backup training and coverage for all supplier accounts during absences.
What we are looking for
- Engineering degree or Bac+5 in supply chain management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain in the automotive industry.
- A good english communication level is a must, spanish will be a big plus.
- Good knowledge of SAP tools.
