VIOO is revolutionizing the retail sector by transforming video surveillance into a powerful performance driver. Our mission is to leverage AI to analyze video feeds, providing retailers with actionable insights to optimize their revenue and operations.

Backed by a startup studio, we are currently building our MVP to enter the Moroccan market by the end of H1 2026, while simultaneously targeting European expansion. We aim to build a world-class team, starting with the key technical experts who will build the foundation of this ambitious journey.

Mission

You'll be a full-stack engineer owning two critical systems: the software layer dashboards/FastAPI backend) and cloud infrastructure (Azure deployment, multi-tenant architecture, DevOps pipelines). Working directly with the CTO, you'll build and deploy our platform to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend:

  • Build scalable, performant applications consuming REST APIs
  • Implement efficient data fetching and caching strategies
  • Focus on clean architecture and component design principles

Cloud & Infrastructure:

  • Design and deploy multi-tenant SaaS architecture on Azure
  • Manage PostgreSQL databases with proper isolation (Row-Level Security, schema design)
  • Build CI/CD pipelines: automated testing, canary deployments, rollback strategies
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability across production systems
  • Own deployment strategy: zero-downtime updates, auto-scaling, load balancing
  • Ensure data residency compliance and security best practices

Requirements

We're looking for a pragmatic, solution-oriented engineer with ~3+ years of proven experience.

Core Skills:

  • Frontend: + TypeScript
  • Backend/Cloud: Experience deploying and scaling applications (preferably Azure, or AWS)
  • Database: Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), indexing, schema design, multi-tenancy patterns
  • DevOps: Comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes or similar container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Systems Thinking: Understand trade-offs in distributed systems, caching, database scaling, infrastructure cost optimization

Bonus:

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
  • Understanding of real-time data pipelines and message queues
