Job Description
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving matcha drinks, smoothies, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere of the bar.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values precision, and has an interest in specialty beverages and café culture.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Prepare matcha drinks, smoothies, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, professional service
- Take orders accurately and handle payments (cash and/or POS system)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and workspace
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and health regulations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Open and/or close the bar according to schedule
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and customer experience
Profile We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage is a plus (but not mandatory)
- Strong interest in matcha, coffee, smoothies, or specialty drinks
- Good communication and interpersonal skill ( Good french & english is a plus )
- Customer-focused, friendly, and professional attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and respect for quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
