POSITION

Within the Finance department of the Middle East and Africa region, he is responsible for preparing and ensuring the quality of financial information for the region by ensuring the implementation and application of IFRS standards and by following Stellantis accounting criteria for entities in the region scope.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

-Perform and supervise overall month/quarter/year end group closing activities and deliverables of the region

  • Help entities to close correctly StarT
  • Assure all the disclosures are prepared
  • Supervise interco reconciliation
  • Perform SOX control when needed
  • Follow up of manual input
  • Follow up of post close entries / OOP
  • Track all the extraordinary events by month : change of criteria, convergence of policies, central adjustments.
  • Communication to prepare closing period
  • Update chart of control
  • P&L & Balance sheet validation

-Monthly flux analysis of actual financials.

  • Focus on Central Adjustments: who post what / origin of the information / description of flows. And content of provisions.

-Briefing book preparation

-Support any group project: Circular economy, new accounting flows, Distrigo, legal entities merge, etc.,

PROFILE

  • Higher education and 5 years of experience in a similar position in a company or be a consultant with a specialization in Finance.
  • Organizational capacity and autonomy to manage several subjects simultaneously.
  • IFRS knowledge.
  • Rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team. Good communication skills. Versatility and spirit of initiative
  • Good knowledge of office tools (SAP essential) Languages: English essential (French optional).
