Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Fez. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial processes, including bookkeeping, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing payroll, working with accounts payable and receivable, and preparing tax returns. The Accountant will also assist in financial decision-making by providing accurate and up-to-date financial information to the management team.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Accounting principles, Financial Analysis, and Budget Management
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable processes
• Experience with Tax Returns, Compliance, and Financial Reporting
• Skilled in using accounting software and other related financial tools
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; certification such as CPA is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of agriculture-related accounting or prior experience in agribusiness is a plus
