Role Description

This is a full-time role for an experienced Trading Associate at WaystoCap Ventures located in Casablanca. The Trading Associate will be responsible for daily trading activities, analyzing market trends, communicating with stakeholders, and managing soft and hard commodities trading.

You will be a key team member covering many regions for clients looking for advice on physical trading across the region.

This is an opportunity for someone from a banking or consulting background to break into physical commodities trading with a diverse client base; it will also lead to other operational projects in the future working closely with some of the biggest trading houses and corporates both nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Consulting or banking background (5+ years experience)
  • Analytical Skills and Trade Finance and Fintech knowledge
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the financial or consulting industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • English & French fluency is required
