SAT/TOEFL teacher

Addictest supports students and families through every step of international university applications—from first contact to admission. We're expanding our academic team and seeking a dedicated SAT/TOEFL Instructor who combines expert subject knowledge with empathy and a passion for student success.

What you'll do

• Deliver Expert Instruction: Plan and teach dynamic, effective lessons for SAT and/or TOEFL preparation, both one-on-one and in small groups.
• Develop & Adapt Curriculum: Create, customize, and refine lesson plans and teaching materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Track Student Progress: Monitor and analyze student performance through practice tests, assignments, and in-class work; provide data-driven feedback and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Empower Students: Equip students with advanced test-taking strategies, time management skills, and content knowledge to confidently achieve their target scores.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with application counselors and mentors to align test preparation with overall application strategy and timelines.

What success looks like (first 90 days)

• Demonstrated student progress and improvement in practice test scores.
• Positive feedback from students and parents on teaching clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.
• Successful development and implementation of a structured curriculum for assigned courses.
• Seamless integration and communication with the broader counseling and mentoring team.

You'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+3/Bac+5); a degree with a strong English component is a significant plus.
• Proven experience teaching SAT and/or TOEFL preparation courses.
• In-depth knowledge of the test formats, scoring, and proven strategies for success.
• Engaging and adaptive teaching style, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing a varied teaching schedule.
