Layout Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree/ or equivalent (Mechatronics, Technical Drawing, ...)
• Strong knowledge of industrial drawing techniques, with the ability to apply best practices in a professional setting.
• Ability to create precise engineering drawings, ensuring full compliance with technical standards and project specifications.
• Proficiency in spatial geometry, including perspective, 3D drawing, and visualization of complex components.
• High level of rigor and attention to detail, particularly regarding dimensions, quantities, and technical accuracy.
• Expertise in CAD software (2D and 3D), with proven experience in creating, editing, and managing technical drawings.
• Autonomous, well-organized, and precise.
• Good command of English.
• Strong team spirit and commitment.

Principal activities

• Define layouts for new projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Provide simulations of layout proposals, supporting decision-making and optimization.
• Identify and propose improvement projects across all Hirschmann operational areas to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure smooth execution of layout changes and line installations, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Regularly calculate Free Production Space (FPS) to optimize plant layout and resource utilization.
