Technical-Functional Consultant

Location:
Hybrid (80% Remote and 20% Onsite at Clients)

Type:
Contract (long-term, subject to successful completion of probationary period and satisfactory performance)

Training:
During the first 6 months, there will be 2 months of formal training with internationally recognisable certifications enablement. Deliverables will be expected in parallel.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in pre-sales and sales meetings with business development executives to gather client requirements.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand business requirements and pain points.
• Formally document all requirements and create statements of work.
• Implement ERP/CRM solutions, including modules like CRM, Field Services, Finance, HR, Project Management, Manufacturing and more, across various industries worldwide.
• Tailor existing Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to meet client needs.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring solutions meet their evolving needs.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset to drive business growth.

Qualifications (Junior Technical-Functional Consultant):

• University degree in Commerce, Business Studies, Accounting, Finance, or related fields, or, Computer Science, Technology, or related fields.
• Exceptional business acumen, processes and application.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Suite (Excel - including PIVOTs, formulas; Word; PowerPoint), or creative alternative software in order to document data and transform it into meaningful business intelligence.
• Exceptional IT skills, including knowledge of Python, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent writing/formulation of business documentation (presentations, Standard Operating Procedures, Functional and Technical documentation, and more).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building attitude and skills.
• Knowledge of various industries such as accounting and finance, banking, retail, e-commerce, textile, manufacturing, technology, construction, property management/real estate, healthcare, and much more.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• University Graduates (Junior Consultants), or 3-5 years of experience (Consultant) 5-8 years of experience (Senior Consultants).

Nice to have (Junior Technical-Functional Consultant):

• Prior experience in Odoo/ERP implementations and support roles.

Career Progression:

Next promotional sequence: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Delivery Lead, Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, Director/Partner, Senior Director/Senior Partner.

Work Environment:

• This is a hybrid working model, working with clients and colleagues online, and working onsite at clients and HFC premises.
• Teams will meet in the office occasionally. During the probationary period, performance and skills will be reviewed online, as demonstrating these online skills is vital in our predominantly cloud-based business.

Expectations:

• Deliverables will start from day 1, and every day is considered day 1.
• All communication will be as though the client is present, maintaining high expectations and professionalism.
• The role is demanding with very high expectations.
