Job Description
We are looking for a mechanical piping engineer to work on large-scale industrial projects. You will be responsible for the design, sizing, and technical follow-up of piping systems, in coordination with project teams and other disciplines. A solid knowledge of standards (ASME, EN) and proficiency in CAD tools are required. Autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit are key to succeeding in this role.
Main Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Piping Engineer, you will work on industrial projects in sectors such as energy, chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and sizing piping systems in compliance with applicable standards (ASME, EN, CODAP, etc.).
- Developing layout drawings, isometrics, and support plans in collaboration with designers.
- Performing mechanical, thermal, and vibration stress analyses.
- Writing technical specifications for mechanical equipment and piping lines.
- Monitoring fabrication, testing, and acceptance of equipment.
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines (process, instrumentation, civil, etc.).
- Participating in design reviews (3D reviews, HAZOP, etc.).
- Providing technical support during construction and site activities.
Profile
- Engineering degree in mechanical.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in piping engineering within an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE software (AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D, Caesar II, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of design codes and standards (ASME, EN13480, API, etc.).
- Team player with strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Technical English proficiency (reading and writing).
