Job Title: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions related to incoming and outgoing payments. The ideal candidate will ensure timely processing of invoices, accurate recording of payments, and effective collection of receivables while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, verify, and record supplier invoices in
  Sage
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan VAT rules.
• Prepare supplier payments and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate AP ledgers and documentation according to Moroccan audit standards.
• Assist with month-end closing (AP accruals, provisions, expense classifications).
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary AP documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Moroccan accounting rules (CGNC) and VAT regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar position (internships included).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage).
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Bilingual (English/French or English/Arabic) is a plus.
