About the client and role
Our client, a leading industrial group in the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to drive HR strategies and initiatives at their Moroccan plant. As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and launching our presence in Morocco. Your responsibilities will include overseeing talent acquisition, workforce planning, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. This role is key to aligning HR practices with business goals, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and creating a strong foundation for sustainable operations in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
· Implement and execute the plant's HR strategy.
· Lead talent acquisition and retention strategies to ensure the plant's workforce meets operational needs.
· Oversee employee development, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
· Collaborate with the Plant Manager to address HR challenges and optimize organizational effectiveness.
· Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
· Manage employee relations and address grievances, maintaining a positive workplace culture.
· Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred.
· 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
· Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
· Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor laws and HR best practices.
· Proven leadership and team management skills.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
· Fluent in French and English; Arabic is an advantage.
