About the Role:
The Digital Ecosystem Office (DEO) at UM6P is looking for highly skilled AI engineers and digital innovators from 1337 to join our team. This group will play a key role in streamlining processes at UM6P, integrating AI into operations, and building the foundation of UM6P's AI Factory.
As part of this team, they will work on cutting-edge AI projects that impact learning, research, and campus operations. They will also be AI champions and tutors in the ChatGPT roll-out program in collaboration with OpenAI, helping faculty, students, and staff adopt AI-driven workflows.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop AI assistants and autonomous agents that will be used across the university, including projects like:
- Smart Campus (IoT & AI-driven campus management)
- The AI Companion (personalized AI assistant for students and faculty)
- The AI Tutor (intelligent academic support system)
- And more
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions to improve university operations and services.
- Structure, clean, and optimize data pipelines to support AI-driven decision-making.
- Assist in designing and implementing UM6P's AI Factory to ensure continuous innovation.
- Serve as Champions and Tutors for AI adoption, guiding faculty, staff, and students in leveraging AI tools.
- Work on university-wide AI initiatives such as Smart Campus, AI Tutors, and AI Assistants.
- Develop AI agents that automate and optimize key processes across UM6P.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of AI into different university functions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AI advancements and propose new ideas for implementation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong experience in AI, machine learning, and data science.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for AI-driven innovation and digital transformation.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT/OpenAI), NLP, or computer vision is a plus.
