Who We Are

Valeo is a global technology company developing solutions that shape the future of mobility. We work with major automotive and mobility players to deliver cleaner, safer, and smarter technologies.

We innovate constantly, but always with a practical mindset — our ideas need to survive the reality of the shopfloor, not just look impressive in presentations.

Why Join Us

Joining Valeo means becoming part of a team where you can grow, learn, and contribute to projects that have real industrial impact.

You'll face meaningful challenges, collaborate with supportive colleagues, and develop experience that actually matters. Some days will be intense, some calmer, and yes — sometimes a machine will randomly decide to "express itself." Welcome to industrial life.

What We Expect From You

  • Motivation to learn and take initiative.
  • Curiosity to question existing practices and explore smarter solutions.
  • A sense of ownership, even when things get a little messy.
  • Strong teamwork skills and open communication.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Clear guidance and real support from your team.
  • An environment where improvement ideas are taken seriously.
  • Genuine opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career.
  • A culture based on trust, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Tools, training, and coaching to help you succeed. And no — we don't expect you to know everything on day one.

Your Role as an Automation Technician

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated assembly lines, robotics, and vision systems to ensure maximum equipment availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical, pneumatic, and PLC programming issues (Siemens/Allen Bradley) to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze equipment performance (OEE/TRP) and cycle times to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in daily QRQC meetings and lead root cause analysis for technical breakdowns using PDCA, FTA, and 5 Whys.
  • Implement P-30 productivity action plans and modify PLC/HMI programs to optimize process flow and reduce micro-stoppages.
  • Deploy and respect TPM standards: ensure systematic inspection, red tagging, and support Level 1 maintenance training for operators.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety rules, particularly Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, during all technical interventions.
  • Manage the spare parts inventory for automation components to ensure critical stock availability.
  • Update technical documentation, electrical schematics, and standard operating procedures following equipment modifications.
  • Lead VPS workshops (5S, Hoshin, MUDA hunting) within the maintenance perimeter to improve workshop organization.
  • Collaborate with the industrialization team during the installation and ramp-up of new production lines or retrofits.
  • Monitor energy consumption of machinery and propose initiatives to reduce the site's carbon footprint.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for maintenance teams and operators regarding new technical standards or safety devices.
  • Prepare and execute Kaizen cards to resolve ergonomic issues or process inefficiencies on the shop floor.

What we are looking for

  • Technical degree (Bac+2 or Bac+3 / Licence Professionnelle) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance.
  • More than 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen Bradley) and HMI configuration.
  • Communication and team management skills are a big plus.

Ready for the Next Step?

If you're looking for a role where you can grow, build real expertise, and see the concrete impact of your work, you'll feel at home here.

We know the list of missions is long — but trust us, it's absolutely worth it.

We're not searching for perfection; we're looking for people with drive, curiosity, and the willingness to take part in something meaningful.

So… are you ready to join the GOAT of companies? We're waiting for you.
