The KAM Make-Up is responsible for driving the sales performance, visibility, and profitability of the make-up category within the retail channels (kiosques, perfumeries, beauty retailers, parapharmacies etc…).. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to maximize sales growth of Make-Up through effective management of retail partnerships and continuous improvement and optimization of the business model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, locations, and partnerships to expand market footprint
- Contractual framework definition and negotiation and building JBPs with retail partners
- Negotiate pricing, and visibility investments with key retail accounts
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve objectives
Sales & Profitability Management
- Manage existing retail accounts and ensure they meet sales targets and objectives
- Ensure optimal stock management
- Monitor and analyze KPIs including ROI and effective P&L management to drive profitability and close collaboration with finance team for customer allowances
Collaborate with supply team and business planning manager to build robust sales forecasts
Retailer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
- Conduct regular business reviews to track performance and plan joint activities
- Negotiate promotional plans, visibility spaces, and exclusivities to strengthen brand positioning
Work closely with retail partners to address issues, complaints, and inquiries, in addition to payments and credit management in a timely manner
In-Store Execution & Trade Marketing
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies, campaigns, events and instore activations to build awareness and drive retail KPIs (traffic, conversion, basket size, sales, loyalty…)
- Ensure effective merchandising and optimal shopping experience in accordance to brand guidelines and category vision
Drive retail training initiatives to strengthen product knowledge and sales conversion
Data & Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust expansion strategy
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales progress, strategy implementation, project roll-out and relevant KPIs
Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions for the teams in collaboration with training and Sell-out managers
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance to deliver commercial excellence
- Lead and coach field teams (area supervisors of retailers, beauty advisors)
