About the Role

Qualified and experienced Teaching Specialist, bilingual in Arabic and English, to provide dedicated home schooling for three students following two different academic tracks:

  • Two students in British Curriculum, Years 6 & 9 (IGCSE/A-Level prep)
  • One student in Grade 12 (UAE Ministry of Education Curriculum)

This is not a tutoring position, but a structured and long-term home-schooling role. The successful candidate will deliver daily lessons, guide academic development, and prepare students for national/international examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured lessons in line with the British curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level pathways) & UAE curriculum (MoE high-school certificate)
  • Plan and teach new concepts across subject areas:

British curriculum:

Mathematics, Sciences, English and Humanities (in English)

UAE curriculum:
Mathematics, Sciences, Arabic and Islamic studies (in Arabic)

  • Evaluate student understanding and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Support the development of independent learning strategies through guided instruction.
  • Coordinate with parents on progress and adapt learning plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate online sessions on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Master's or higher degree in Education or a related field

Experience

  • 10+ years teaching experience
  • Proven expertise in delivering the British Curriculum and proficiency in Arabic
  • Experience in distance/on-line teaching is highly appreciated

Language Proficiency

  • English: Expert / Native level
  • Arabic: Expert / Native level
  • French: is a plus

  • Sound understanding of Islamic values and teachings
  • Understanding of values-based, faith-sensitive pedagogy

Soft Skills

  • Warm, patient, and respectful communicator
  • Excellent classroom management

Work Arrangement

Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 2 to 5 hours per day or approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on the time of year and current academic demands
  • Sessions to be held between 8 AM and 12 PM (UAE time)

  • Online sessions
  • Quiet, distraction-free space
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection
  • Clear audio and video for seamless online lessons
  • In-person sessions are a plus if available in the UAE.

Start Date

  • Tentatively scheduled for November 2025

Remuneration

  • Compensation to be determined based on profile, experience, and final agreement
