Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Tangier for a Controlling Specialist. Key responsibilities include managing and analyzing operational and financial performance, supporting budget planning, cost control, and variance analysis. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in data, monitor compliance with internal policies, and contribute to the implementation of process improvements across departments.

Qualifications

  • Drive the preparation and delivery of performance reports, ensuring results are clearly visible against the budget. Provide management with accurate, timely, and decision-relevant information.
  • Analyze and challenge performance deviations across costs, margins, raw materials, turnover, and operational KPIs, including the financial impact of LME copper price fluctuations.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of controlling data and reports by validating information from systems and operational sources and applying controlling standards and procedures.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes by collecting, consolidating, and validating data from operations and support functions, ensuring alignment with controlling guidelines and Group standards.
  • Support management and cross-functional teams through analysis, cost-saving initiatives, daily decision support, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Develop and continuously improve controlling tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance transparency, automation, and analytical efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with COFICAB Group policies, controlling standards, Quality and EHS systems, corporate values, Code of Conduct, and non-disclosure agreements in all activities, promoting ethical practices and operational integrity.
  • Keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in controlling in an industrial field is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, French and arabic.
