DevOps Engineer (Microservices + Terraform + Kubernetes + ArgoCD + Observability)

Webloo is a dynamic and innovative agency dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and deeply technical — ideal for someone experienced in infrastructure automation, observability, and microservices orchestration across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

  • Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
  • Deploy and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or AKS) with GitOps and CI/CD workflows.
  • Manage ArgoCD, Helm, and Kustomize deployments for microservices and environment automation.
  • Implement and maintain observability stacks — Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry — for , Python, and Java-based services.
  • Build custom dashboards and alert rules for infrastructure and application performance monitoring.
  • Automate operations via Bash, Python, or Go scripts — handling deployments, backups, and routine maintenance.
  • Administer GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, and environments for seamless multi-repo workflows.
  • Support backend teams by integrating , Python, and Java microservices into unified deployment and monitoring pipelines.
  • Apply strong security and compliance practices (RBAC, IAM, secrets management, mTLS).
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, cost optimization, and reliability engineering strategies.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or SRE.
  • Mastery of Linux administration and core networking concepts.
  • Deep experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
  • Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD — pipelines, runners, templates, and environment variables.
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, and scripting for automation and debugging.
  • Working knowledge of and Java service observability and profiling (metrics, traces, logs).
  • Solid understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alertmanager for full-stack observability.
  • Experience with ArgoCD and Helm for GitOps-driven delivery.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure services — EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting pipelines for distributed microservices.

Bonus Points for Experience with

  • Service Mesh tools (Istio, Linkerd) and API Gateway integrations.
  • Elasticsearch and Redis cluster administration.
  • Policy-as-Code (OPA, Kyverno) or security automation (Falco, Trivy, Snyk).
  • Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Cloud Run, Azure Functions).
  • Cost management, auto-scaling, and infrastructure benchmarking.
  • Chaos engineering or resilience testing practices.
