On-Call Substitute and Cover Teacher (Middle/High School)

Casablanca American School is seeking flexible and dependable on-call Substitute and Cover Teachers to support middle and high school classes when regular teachers are absent. This position is not full-time, the subsitute teacher will be contacted as needed, sometimes on short notice.

Payment:

Daily rate of
500 MAD to 1,000 MAD
, depending on the substitute profile (Experience & Educational Background) and contract.

Payment is processed monthly, based on the total number of days worked.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lesson plans and follow routines left by the regular teacher.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Supervise students in classrooms and common areas.
  • Take attendance and administer assignments as directed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (required).
  • Teaching certification or prior teaching experience (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Excellent English (spoken and written).
