Role Overview :

In this role, based within the
Vehicle Engineering
organization, you will lead the VIMN (Vehicle Interior, Mechatronics & NVH) scope
from RFQ preparation through the design, development, and industrialization of interior systems.
You will coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering activities, drive organic and functional design, and negotiate quality, cost, and timing targets with vehicle projects and brands. You will ensure alignment between performance requirements, industrial constraints, and purchasing policies, while securing robust product definition at key program milestones. You will also provide operational leadership to technical teams and manage co-development suppliers for outsourced components.

• Lead the preparation of VIMN RFQs based on requirements negotiated with the vehicle Brands.
• Drive the organic and functional design of the Interior perimeter in accordance with the multi-Function statement of work defined by the Brands, VEPE, SCIL, Styling, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate quality, cost, and timing targets with the Vehicle Project and ensure consistency between performance requirements and project objectives.
• Define and manage the VIMN development plan, translating the commitment of VIMN disciplines (ITAF, ITL, CSE, MECH, NVH, etc.) in alignment with technical, purchasing, and industrial policies.
• Lead and coordinate the development of the VIMN subsystem and its downstream components
• Ensure optimal allocation and commitment of resources in line with actual project needs.
• Organize and manage the technical engineering activities related to the VIMN subsystem.
• Commit to the robustness of the product definition and to achieving subsystem targets at serial tooling release milestones.
• Provide operational leadership to Design Release Engineers (DRE), Organic Design Leaders, Sub-System Technical Leaders (SSTL), Cost & Operational Planning Pilots, and Project Quality Leaders.
• Drive the design, development, and industrialization of interior parts, components, and systems manufactured in final assembly plants.
• Manage relationships with co-development suppliers for the design, development, and industrialization of outsourced components.

What You'll Bring:

Technical Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of strong experience in vehicle interior systems engineering
  , with background in
  electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering
  .
• Proven background in
  V-cycle development
  , from RFQ to serial production
• Solid understanding of
  interior architecture, functional design, and system integration
• Experience in
  multi-disciplinary project coordination
  (ITAF, ITL, CSE, MECH, NVH, etc.)
• Ability to define, deploy, and track
  development plans and technical roadmaps
• Strong knowledge of
  quality, cost, and timing (QCD)
  management in automotive projects
• Familiarity with
  industrialization processes
  , tooling milestones, and serial readiness
• Experience working with
  co-development and tier-1 suppliers
  , including technical follow-up and performance alignment
