e are looking for a skilled Backend TypeScript Developer with at least 3-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the crucial background systems and data pipelines that are the backbone of our application. You will focus on building robust services for data import/export and ensuring our backend infrastructure is scalable and efficient. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and wants to make a significant impact on our product.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement full-stack features based on detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Build robust backend services and APIs.
  • Implement type-safe database queries and migrations for PostgreSQL.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Vitest to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with the lead developer and product manager on implementation strategies and code reviews…

Your Profile (Required Skills)

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with professional experience in both and React.
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD principles (we use GitLab CI).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a lead.
  • Independence - you will be working with an international team spread across different time zones

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

  • Familiarity with the GCP environment and services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or Pub/Sub.
  • Previous work on data processing, ETL, or feed generation systems.
  • The position is for Backend, but potentially having experience with React and the Shadcn UI for doing some basic frontend changes would be appreciated.
