MarketLeap is the first complete AI-driven platform that empowers direct-to-consumer (D2C) sellers to scale effortlessly across global marketplaces. By providing a fully integrated software solution, MarketLeap helps D2C sellers focus on core business activities while simplifying operational complexities and marketplace expansion. Since launching in October 2022, MarketLeap has enabled customers to sell in over 30 countries. In just two years, the company has secured $10.7 million in funding from prominent investors including Smedvig Ventures, Expon Capital, Notion Capital, Motier Ventures, Kima Ventures, and leading business angels.

Now, we're scaling rapidly and looking for driven BDRs to join us on this journey, as we expand into new marketplaces and accelerate both our EU and US operations.

About the Role

As a
Business Development Representative (BDR)
at MarketLeap, you'll be on the front line of our growth efforts — identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential leads for our sales team. You'll play a critical role in building our pipeline by sourcing new business opportunities and contributing to the success of our go-to-market strategy.

This is an ideal role if you want to accelerate your career in tech sales, gain exposure to senior leadership and founders, and set yourself up for progression into closing roles (AE) in the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Identify and engage with D2C and eCommerce brands across Europe and the US

Own outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, and other channels to generate qualified meetings

Leverage MarketLeap's internal outbound tools to convert warm leads into sales opportunities

Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handover of qualified opportunities

Become an expert in MarketLeap's platform, understanding how we help brands scale globally

Research target accounts, personalize outreach, and build relationships with key decision-makers

Track activity and maintain accurate records in the CRM

Represent MarketLeap at industry events and webinars to build pipeline and brand awareness

About You

1+ years of experience in sales or lead generation is preferred but not essential — SaaS, eCommerce tech, or Amazon agencies is a plus

Previous experience as an SDR/BDR preferred but not essential —
motivated graduates or career changers welcome

A hunter mindset — you're proactive, competitive, target-driven, and eager to build pipeline

Excellent communication skills — confident speaking with marketing, growth, and C-level stakeholders

Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Interest in the eCommerce, D2C, or marketplace space is a bonus
