Head Wildlife Veterinarian – Morocco

An internationally-managed private conservation estate in Morocco is seeking a passionate and experienced Wildlife Veterinarian to lead its veterinary department. The role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a wide range of species—including endangered mammals and over 30,000 game birds—while living on-site in a unique, ecologically restored forest environment.

You'll be responsible for:

  1. Leading the veterinary team and managing all medical needs across the reserve.

  2. Monitoring animal health and overseeing disease prevention programs.

  3. Conducting treatments, diagnostics, and emergency care.

  4. Supporting ecological and conservation goals through fieldwork and data collection.

The ideal candidate:

  1. Holds a veterinary degree with experience in wildlife or game animals.

  2. Has a hands-on, proactive approach and thrives in field-based environments.

  3. Is a fluent English speaker, adaptable, and respectful of diverse cultures.

  4. Is open to working in an environment where ethical hunting forms part of management.

Package includes competitive salary (USD 6,000–8,000 net), housing, medical cover, flights, annual leave, and the chance to work alongside an international team in one of Morocco's most ambitious private conservation projects.
