Azure Synapse

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Azure Synapse Engineer & Power BI Report Developer (referred to as Full Stack Developer). The role involves implementing reporting solutions to complement the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O). The Full Stack Developer will design and implement reports and data visualizations based on requirements from various business functions, including Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Human Resources, and Project Management. The Data Platform is based on Microsoft Fabric and Synapse, employing Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling techniques for consumption in Power BI.

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development of reports, including requirements gathering, data modeling, data engineering, Power BI report creation, and user testing. Responsibilities include delivering complete Power BI report solutions, deploying them to production, and resolving feedback or production issues.

**Power BI & Requirements Analysis:**

·     Analyze and understand business processes, logic, and data models to identify missing data.

·     Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements.

·     Design and implement interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.

·     Address user feedback and UAT issues promptly.

·     Publish data and reports to production environments.

**Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse Development:**

·     Design database schemas and relationships while optimizing performance.

·     Develop and maintain SQL and PySpark-based data products.

·     Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data integrity.

·     Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices.

·     Optimize data pipelines and resolve performance bottlenecks.

·     Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and architects.

·     Document data engineering processes and architectures.

·     Use Azure DevOps for version control and deployment workflows.

Other Requirements

·     Fluent in English.

·     Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering and modeling.

·     At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse and Power BI development.

·     Hands-on experience with Data Lakes and Data Lakehouse architectures (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).

·     Strong background in Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling.

·     Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Java.

·     Experience with Apache Spark framework.

·     Understanding of finance/accounting logic in ERP systems (preferably D365 F&O).

·     Experience in data governance and handling large-scale data pipelines.

·     Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
