Senior Data Actuary – Global Transformation

Location: Casablanca, Maroc

Function: Life & Health – Data & Transformation

About the Role

A recognised global leader insurance & reinsurance company is seeking a Senior Data Actuary to act as the central technical expert driving data excellence across its global Life & Health reserving organisation. This is a high-visibility, non-managerial expert track role for a deep technical specialist with strong actuarial data experience.

You will be the reference point for all data used across global Life & Health (L&H) reserving, collaborating closely with modelling, transformation, and analytics teams worldwide. The role blends cutting-edge technical work (Python, AI, data engineering) with senior stakeholder engagement and global project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to specialist for all things data within the world-wide L&H reserving environment.
  • Serve as the technical expert linking global reserving, modelling, transformation, and analytics teams.
  • Lead and deliver data-driven actuarial projects, including automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation.
  • Manage complex data projects across multiple geographies, ensuring delivery, communication, and alignment.
  • Partner with senior leaders (including the L&H Chief Operating Officer) on global transformation initiatives.

Profile

  • Expert-level Python and SQL skills with 10 + years' experience – non-negotiable.
  • Strong background or interest in AI, advanced analytics, and data science.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver cross-functional, multi-country data projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the gravitas to face senior stakeholders globally.
  • Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor while influencing at scale.
  • Strong experience in Life & Health actuarial work with deep data/analytics exposure is a plus
