Job Description :

Optical spectroscopy is a technology used to analyze materials in different forms, gaz, liquid or solid and in different spectral bands from UV to far infrared. It is widely used in industries, biomedical applications, life sciences, food sciences, metallurgy, mining ...

Combined with machine learning and data processing, optical spectroscopy allow real time monitoring process which is of interest for manufacturing and production control.

The candidate will work on data processing and machine learning algorithm derived from specific configurations of optical spectroscopy instruments and develop new efficient approaches for robust calibration models derivation.

Position Requirements:

Candidate must be able to work on machine learning algorithm in python, C, C++ or C#, develop stand alone application with UX/UI interface, propose new approaches for robust calibration of optical spectroscopy instruments  with a relevant experience in optical instruments design and configurations.

Criteria of the candidate:

• · PhD in the subject discipline with a relevant experience as postdoctoral researcher.
• · Prove ability to perform multidisciplinary research and contribute to funded research programs.
• · Good English communication skills, both verbal and written are important.
