Job Summary
Responsible for identifying training needs, developing and executing technical & operational training courses for technicians/blue colors and other service sales positions both technically and commercially to ensure that they perform their job duties efficiently, effectively and in a safe manner.

Ensure that all competence development solutions once agreed are delivered in a professional, effective and timely manner, and secure the update of Volvo Competence Development Portal

Provides technical support and guidance to technicians/service engineers as required in cooperation with PQE and FSE, as their support

Responsible for the implementation and follow up of Qualitative Requirements and Lean for Retail Concept for Volvo Morocco

Job Content

• Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Conduct delivery training to technicians and other service sales and retail peoples
• Conduct skills gaps analysis in coordination with line supervisors and plan future development accordingly
• Deliver training to the required standard to meet fully the requirements and needs of the employees
• Deliver product and commercial training to service sales department
• Deliver technical training to the required standard to meet fully the requirements and needs of the technicians
• Provides technical support and guidance for advance troubleshooting to technicians/service engineers as required
• Conduct post training evaluations to assess competency level of employees and provide feedback to line supervisors
• Keep the competence development portal updated for all technicians
• Research and evaluate the technical content of the training material, update and improve all training materials, aids and facilities as per new requirements
• Manage the QR and lean for Retail assessment and action plan
• Performs other duties assigned by his manager
• Key Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at every level both oral and written in English
• Skilled in mechanics and electrics
• Experience as a trainer or similar pedagogic role
• Experience from heavy vehicle industry
• Degree in engineering or technical background
• Experience of working with different cultures is an advantage
• Experience of working in a retail/Workshop is an advantage
• Structured way of working
• Ability to coach and develop
• Fully proficient in MS Office applications
• Availability for travelling

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Experience as a trainer or similar pedagogic role
• Minimum 4 years' experience in the repair and overhaul of Trucks & Bus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical literature
• The ability and desire to approach technical education as a life-long process in order to stay current in the field and maintain a high level of job performance
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Leadership & coaching skills
• Spoken & written English is a plus
