Global Mission:
The Supply Chain Cost Manager is charged with the essential task of overseeing the material and information flow process designs to ensure cost-effectiveness and investment efficiency. They are to challenge and evaluate preliminary decisions both in mother and the target plant, always with the goal of minimizing costs and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Rigorously check the logistics flow process design concepts.
  • Evaluate preliminary decisions with a critical eye to minimize costs and investments.
  • Prepare and present comparative profitability analyses for alternative process scenarios.
  • Provide weekly reports to Management on best-cost choices, opportunities for cost reduction, and consolidated transformation costs and investments.
  • Engage in the program from the very beginning until CM, contributing to strategic cost decisions and program success.

Must-Have Skills:

  • In-depth field experience regarding supply chain processes, related costs & investments.
  • Ability to optimize supply chain processes for maximum efficiency and cost.
  • Uncompromising ability to investigate and challenge technical and financial data.
  • A results-driven business mindset, capable of making well-supported suggestions.
  • Fluency in English.

Interfaces:

  • Work closely with the Cost Manager, Advanced Development, and the relevant Chief Engineer or Supply Chain Manager.
