HSE Supervisor

Position: HSE Supervisor

Job Purpose

To ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
policies and procedures on construction sites, in compliance with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the
  HSE Plan
  on site
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure a safe working environment
• Identify hazards, conduct
  risk assessments
  , and recommend preventive measures
• Carry out regular
  HSE inspections
  and prepare reports
• Conduct
  HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety trainings
• Investigate
  accidents, incidents, and near misses
  , and implement corrective actions
• Ensure proper use of
  PPE
  by all personnel on site
• Ensure compliance with approved
  method statements, permits to work, and safety procedures
• Coordinate HSE activities with project teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Maintain and update
  HSE records, statistics, and KPIs
• Participate in
  internal and external HSE audits

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in
  HSE / Occupational Safety / Environmental Management
• Minimum
  3–5 years of experience
  as an HSE Supervisor
• Mandatory experience in
  Construction Projects (Civil Works)
• Marine Construction experience is highly preferred and will be given priority
• Good knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 – preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently on site and under pressure
